Wildlife Help

Contact between people and wildlife continues to increase. As human development expands, wildlife habitat continues to shrink. In general, wildlife should be left alone and viewed from a distance. Most wildlife will not approach humans if they are healthy. While not always the case, in general if a wild animal approaches humans, it is either hungry, sick or injured. Please utilize the links below to help with wildlife. If you are ever unsure, please click here to be put in touch with your local animal control or police department. NOTE: In the state of Wisconsin, It is illegal to keep any wild animal for more than 24 hours unless you hold a valid WI DNR Wildlife Rehabilitation License.
