Injured Wildlife
It is not wise to approach or capture injured or baby wildlife, if you do not have experience doing so. Before taking any action, call CART at 920-819-6709 or The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. Speaking with them can give you advice and if needed, someone will be dispatched to evaluate the situation and do what is best for the animal. If you capture an injured animal (bird, squirrel, etc) it is best to place it in a box or kennel and immeidately take it the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary for evaluation. If you are not able to reach them, call CART or your local animal control or ask for CART to be paged.
CART will come take the animal if needed. We have access to temporary overnight care if needed and will get it to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary for proper care ASAP.
